To apply for a new PAN card, individuals are required to pay a nominal application fee. As of my knowledge cutoff in January 2022, the fees for PAN card applications were as follows:
For Indian citizens (individuals): Rs. 93 (including Goods and Services Tax – GST)
For NRI applicants (individuals): Rs. 864 (including GST)

Changes or correction in existing PAN data: Rs. 110 (including GST)

Online applications through the official website are generally more cost-effective compared to applying through physical forms or intermediaries.
